Issa Asad explains Wireless Security

Network Security is the next wave which is bound to sweep the software market. Increase in offshore projects and transfer of information across the wire has added fuel to the burning urge to secure the network. As the famous adage goes, the most safest computer is one which has been unplugged from the network(making it almost useless). Network security is becoming more of a necessity. Interestingly the type of security required across different enterprises depends on the nature of its business.
Naturally, with the growing benefits of technology, the Internet and network configurations comes the growing danger of security breaches, identity theft and cyber crimes. Unfortunately, electronic theft is becoming a greater danger to many businesses across the globe, so how do business owners keep their data safe and secure? One way to keep sensitive information secure is to constantly improve network security and to stay ahead of the game.
Everyday network security threats are being modified and refined, as hackers new conduits such as instant messaging, peer-to-peer connections, and wireless networks to deliver their attacks. In my opinion, the biggest headache for small businesses is the misuse of the Internet by employees. If a user visits an inappropriate site, sends or receives inappropriate content, or worse, violates confidentiality and leaks client information or company secrets, legal liability action is sure to follow. End user education needs to be top priority for all network administrators.
Network Security is a complex problem that we must deal with every day, especially in big companies. Anytime, hackers can plant vulnerable viruses and Trojans to steal valuable data, and cause data loss and network destruction. There are also internal threats, especially from unsatisfied employees with full access to company data. Company data must be secured from sabotages by industry spies. To achieve the best network security for your company, you can consider using network security software, firewalls, encrypted pages and passwords. By doing these methods, you can at least minimize the risks of being a victim of data theft.
Network security is a big issue and growing bigger daily. Scams originating from around the world are increasingly sophisticated and getting harder to detect and for the legal authorities to shut down.
